Well here it is, the final one. Done before midnight. Got to say I am a bit proud of myself. I thought a few times I was not going to get done within the limit given. I want to thank whoever this came from. Maybe now I’ll find out. Maybe there will be more beers. Maybe I will never know anything. It has been fun though and I’ve got the opportunity to experience some beers I probably would not have without doubt.
Taking a pint glass I sit down and pour remembering the received gifts again. Tipping glass and bottle there comes to meet me a dark amber beer with very little light presenting itself through glass. A thick brown head that sits proudly atop and bids you to take a sip.
Before that there is the interesting aroma of caramel, apricots, and what I can only tell you reminds me of a sucker. you know the different flavored kind you get around Halloween? Dum Dum Pops or Charms Blow-pops.
The taste here is lighter than expected from the look and aroma. A bit on the watery side. notes and flavors of malt, hops, and caramel. It has only the slightest bite to it. A beer that really goes down easy. On second glass before I know it.
The ending of this is my least favorite part. It taste a bit like dirt. Seems gritty as it passes and sits on the tongue for a moment or two longer than it should. This could be the reason to keep drinking so fast and so much is to avoid this part of it.
All around not bad as compared to a lot of things out and around today. I want to thank you, whomever you may be for what I have received and had the pleasure to put my opinion on. Friends!

DRINK WELL

DARKSIDE
